Hereditary Heart Health Test

Calon Hearts are pleased to announce that they are offering Hereditary Heart Health Tests. This test analyses 30 genes associated with inherited heart conditions that have actionable treatment plans, as recognised by the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics.

Conditions associated with the 30-gene test include cardiomyopathies, arrhythmias, arteriopathies, and Familial Hypercholesterolemia.

Finding out early if you have a mutation associated with one of these conditions can help you and your healthcare provider create a personalised plan to prevent heart disease or sudden cardiac arrest. If you have a personal or family history of heart disease, you may want to consider genetic testing for genes that increase the risk for hereditary heart conditions.
